- Aged under 18 €6.06 per hour
- Over 18 and in first year of first employment €6.92
- Over 19 and in 2nd year of first employment €7.79
These are the minimum rates of pay in England for 2012
Experienced adult worker £6.19 an hour
- The rate for 18 to 20-year-olds will remain at £4.98 an hour
- The rate for 16 and 17-year-olds will remain at £3.68 an hour
- However, the rate for apprentices will rise by 5p to £2.65 an hour
