The famous Corkonian Murphy\u2019s<\/strong> Brewery has just launched a smartphone app that gives you a free pint<\/strong> when it\u2019s raining anywhere around the county: the \u00abWhen It Rains It Pours<\/em>\u00bb app!\"\"<\/p>\n

How does it works?<\/strong> You just have to\u00a0\u00a0download the app (which is available for iPhone and Android), and when it says it\u2019s been raining anywhere in Cork, you can claim one of 1000 free pints of Murphy\u2019s stout on offer for every rainy day this August and September<\/strong>.\u00a0The app will also show a map of\u00a0participating venues in Cork city and county.<\/p>\n

So, if it’s raining, just\u00a0claim your free pint by opening the app, go to your favourite local and hit the \u00abRedeem<\/em>\u00bb button.<\/p>\n

The bar staff will tell you the 4 digit daily code, you’ll have to type in the code and hit \u00abenter\u00bb.
\nShow the next screen (the \u00abPour Screen<\/em>\u00ab) to the bar staff and… cheers to you!<\/p>\n

(Note that you can get no more than\u00a01 pint a day<\/strong> and you’ll need a data connection for your smartphone!)<\/p>\n
